Ahoy, Christina!
Welcome home, and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for visiting us today to ask your question! I love getting the opportunity to help fellow
Disney Vacation Club Members make the most of their membership. I went on my first Disney Cruise last November, and I was instantly converted into a cruise fanatic! We have just booked to sail on the Disney Adventure out of Singapore next year!
Members eligible for membership extras can convert their Vacation Points into Reservation Points. The exchange rate is 1 for 1. The Reservation Points can be used on Disney Collection experiences around the world, including Disney Cruise Line. The
full point charts and
booking details are available on the Disney Vacation Club website. When you're ready to book, just
contact Member Services, and a Cast Member will be happy to help.
A couple of key points to keep in mind, at least one member of your travel party must be booked entirely with Reservation Points. Other members can be booked with cash or Reservation Points, but not a combination of both. A non-refundable transaction fee of $95 (subject to change) will be charged at the time of booking.
Additionally, if you've opted into the annual
Membership Magic Beyond program, you'll enjoy enhanced benefits, such as having the $95 transaction fee waived when exchanging points for Disney Collection experiences, including Disney Cruise Line (offers subject to change).
I hope this answers your question, Christina. If you have any further questions about your membership, please
reach out to me. If you have any cruise-specific questions, why not reach out to my pal,
Dustin? He is an expert on exploring the high seas!
Have a magical day,
Matt
