Aloha Catherine,
You've picked one of my favorite Resort hotels.
The Polynesian is perfectly located (what is better than the view from its beach?), has a
fantastic watering hole, and makes you feel like you are on the islands from the moment you enter the longhouse.
That vibe isn't created all with pixie dust, though, and as you know, the Resort has been undergoing a magical transformation for the past few years. The brand-new
Island Tower is gorgeous, the zero-entry pool is the perfect place to relax, and the terrace gardens are stunning. I checked with the
Resort, and the pools, beach, and restaurants will be open during your stay. Construction is slated to continue through 2026, so be prepared for possible modifications happening while you are there. Disney has promised to minimize disruptions; anything noisy will occur after 9 am!
Mahalo for your question, Catherine. Feel free to come back with any additional questions you have. Grab a
Dole Whip for me during your stay!
