    At the Contemporary, are the rooms in the garden wing the same as the ones in the main building? Also regarding the garden wing, which area (if I wished to make a request) would be closer to the pool and main building?

    Hi Lauri!

    The Contemporary is a great resort choice! The location really can't be beat and watching the monorail zoom through the tower is a very cool sight!

    All of the standard rooms at the resort, regardless of location in the Tower or Garden Wing, are decorated identically. Suites will have a different layout.

    If your choice is to be as close to the pool and main building as possible, I would recommend adding that phrase to your reservation. This will let the room assignment Cast Members know that being close is important to you (rather than asking for a specific room number which may not be available). 

    Be sure to call Disney reservations at 407-939-7675 (or your travel agent) to have your room request noted. While room requests are never guaranteed, our family usually has good luck. I hope yours does too!
