    Is the contemporary resort pool open in February?

    You are going to love staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Kelly! This lakeside Disney Deluxe Resort is the only Resort on property to have the Walt Disney World Monorail System pass right through the main concourse. We have stayed at this iconic Disney Resort before and on arrival, you will immediately know that you're right in the center of the Magic!  Disney's Contemporary Resort features 2 pools adjacent to the marina. Both pools are planned to be open during the month of February. You will be pleasantly surprised to know that the pools are heated to a lovely 82 degrees. Unfortunately, the 17-foot high curving slide at the larger pool is currently closed for refurbishment and is not planned to reopen until February 18, 2012. Hopefully this news will not put a damper on your plans. There will still be much fun to be had with the two pools, poolside activities, and two hot tubs.
