How to get to contemporary from pop century using sky liner

Hi there Gary! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your vacation planning question, and I'm happy to assist you today.

Soaring through the skies is no longer just for the birds in Walt Disney World. With a little help from the Disney Skyliner, you'll travel Tinker Bell-style from Disney's Pop Century Resort. Groovy! Although Disney's newest transportation system does not fly directly to Disney's Contemporary Resort, you can still arrive at your destination via the friendly skies.

From Disney's Pop Century Resort, take the Disney Skyliner to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, where you will encounter the central hub of the system. From here transfer to a gondola that will carry you to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Nearby bus transportation is available to Disney's Contemporary Resort. There are signs to help you find the Disney Skyliner and bus loading areas, but if you are unsure, ask a friendly Cast Member who will point you in the right direction. If you need a jolt of caffeine mid-flight, I recommend stopping by the Joffrey's Coffee Kiosk just outside the Disney Skyliner station at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. The toffee flight latte is heavenly!

Gary, another option for this voyage is to take a bus from Disney's Pop Century Resort to the Magic Kingdom Park, and from there either ride the resort monorail or walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort. While this route does not utilize the Disney Skyliner, it will get you where you need to go, so I wanted to make you aware.

I hope this helps as you continue to plan for your upcoming Disney adventure. If there is anything else we can help with before your visit, please come back and see us again. As our friend Patrick says on Soarin' Around the World, "Soon, you'll be airborne!"
