Hello, Jodi, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Although there used to be several Children’s Activity Centers at
Walt Disney World Resort, most of them have closed within the past year. The only one left is
Camp Dolphin at the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. This is only open from 5 p.m until midnight, though. There is a two-hour minimum, and rates are by the hour. However, if you book an appointment at the
Mandara Spa or dinner at
Shula’s Steak House,
Todd English’s bluezoo or
Il Mulino New York Trattoria, you can receive up to two hours of complimentary child care!
Another option that is also in the Boardwalk/ Epcot Resort area might be
Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew. This is the most recent option available for kids ages 4-12, and it is a flat rate for three and a half hours of pirate fun. Offered nightly at
Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew includes dinner for your little one in addition to “pirate training” (with the infamous Captain himself) and a sail along Crescent Lake.
I’m sorry there aren’t any options available during the daytime, but you can drop off the kids for Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew as early as 4:30 p.m. If you need an option for earlier in the day and/or for kids under 4, your best bet would be the
Kid’s Nite Out in-room babysitting service (which is available 24 hours a day and can be pre-booked at any official
Walt Disney World Resort hotel).
Hopefully you’ll find an option that will work for you and your family, Jodi. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any additional questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Amy
