Howdy Linda!
Welcome to
planDisney, where you will find a group of the rootinest, tootinest Disney vacation enthusiasts this side of
Walt Disney World. I’m so glad you stopped by with your question about the construction and refurbishments taking place in several of the Disney Resort hotels, as these areas get a refreshment of pixie dust. I’m happy to round up information for you so that you can ensure a Disney Resort hotel stay that is nothing short of magical!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is undergoing refurbishment starting in October 2025 through January 2027. Kidani Village Guest rooms will be under refurbishment from October 2025 to May 2026, and Jambo House from May 2026 to January 2027. All amenities will remain available, but some savanna views may be obstructed. Alternate viewing areas will be available. Since you are planning to visit in November, I recommend booking a stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge or a Villa at Jambo House to get a bit further from the construction at Kidani Village.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort is undergoing routine exterior maintenance through 2027. The porte cochere will be closed through September 2025, so it is planned to reopen by October. While you might see some of the maintenance efforts during the day, efforts are made to minimize disruptions. All pools, including the recently refurbished Stormalong Bay, resort dining, and most other amenities, will remain available.
Currently, the
Disney’s Port Orleans – Riverside Magnolia Bend Guest rooms are undergoing refurbishments through February 2026. Guests staying in the resort may see or hear construction work in the area.
I appreciate your concerns about the construction and being a light sleeper. I hope it reassures you to know that construction typically begins at 9:00 AM and ends around dusk each evening. The quiet evening hours are honored to ensure Guests can enjoy a good night’s sleep after magical days spent in the parks.
I hope you book an unforgettable stay at
The Most Magical Place on Earth, Linda! If you need suggestions for resorts that are not under construction or refurbishment, please come back and ask us here at planDisney. We are always happy to help our Pals!
You’ve got a friend in me!
