    Hi. We are considering a WDW vacation over the fall/winter months. Unsure if I should include going to the water parks...are there times of the year that they are closed?

    Hi Melissa!

    The Walt Disney World water parks are open year round, however they do close for refurbishment. 

    You can check out the calendar for park hours and operational updates on each of the water park pages to see if they are open when you plan to visit.

    I visited the calendar for Typhoon Lagoon and I see that they are closed for the entire month of December and part of January for refurbishment. 

    It appears that Blizzard Beach is closed for most of January. Definitely make sure that you check the calendar prior to purchasing the water parks fun and more option.
