Hi! Considering going to WDW in August vs. December. My question is about free dining offer. If we arrive a few days before the plan starts, but are there during, will we qualify for the plan the entire vacation? Also, how hot is it in August? Thx.

Hi Tawn!  As someone who normally vacations at Walt Disney World during the months of August, I can speak with authority when I say IT'S HOT!!  The temperature is usually in the low to mid 90's with the occasional thunderstorm or sun shower (it's right smack in the middle of hurricane season).  Not unbearable as all Disney attractions are THANKFULLY air conditioned, but it can be uncomfortable.

As for free dining, in order to take advantage of the promo, you need to book your stay during the time specified.  If your vacation starts the day before FD begins, you will not qualify for FD.  You can book two separate reservations, one for your stay prior to FD, and one beginning when FD is offered, but keep in mind that an FD promo requires a minimum two day base ticket included in the package.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
