We are considering the Wave for the breakfast buffet for our upcoming trip. What are the hours for the breakfast buffet? Does it end at 11 or linger a bit? Thank you so much!

Hi there, Stacey! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

The Wave... of American Flavors is an often overlooked gem tucked inside Disney's Contemporary Resort! This dining location is just minutes away from the Magic Kingdom so it is the perfect spot for a bite to eat before heading to The Most Magical Place on Earth! My family and I are huge fans of the breakfast buffet here and love all of the regionally and locally sourced ingredients that make each dish unique and delicious!

The all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet takes place from 7:30 am until 11:00 am each morning. This allows Guests to pop in before the parks open or enjoy a leisurely brunch later in the morning. My family and I have made late morning reservations and have found that the breakfast buffet tends to run a bit after the advertised 11:00 am. That being said, we did notice that the change over to lunch does happen around 11:30 am so some of the dishes did begin to be taken up around this time.

Ultimately, I highly recommend giving The Wave... of American Flavors a shot! I vividly remember being unsure of the breakfast buffet during our initial reservation but I am so happy we decided to try this exquisite dining location!

Best of luck continuing to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
