We are considering visiting WDW 12/30/11-1/8/12. Just wondering how busy the first week of January will be. We are expecting crowds NYE weekend, but were hoping for a drop in crowds the first week. We are used to visiting in Oct or late Jan.

    HI Stacey!

I don't think you will find the crowd levels the same during the end of December and begining of January as you have experienced them in October.  The crowd levels will be higher in late December early January because of the holiday season.  However, the New Years fireworks display is spectacular.  We have never travelled during that time but I have several friends who have said that being at the Magic Kingdom on New Years Eve and experiencing the fireworks display is something they will never forget.  I wouldn't worry too much about crowd levels.  If you've been to Disney before then you already know how to navigate the parks so crowd levels shouldn't be much of a problem for you.
