We are considering visiting WDW during the Christmas holidays. What is the weather like during this time, what are the crowds like and are all the attractions open? Thanks, you guys are great!

The weather in December is usually great for park touring: average highs are in the low 70s, average lows are in the low 50s. This is very comfortable for walking around the parks, and with the heated pools, its even warm enough for a swim. You should bear in mind that, of course, those are just average temperatures and any given year could be significant warmer or cooler. I've been to WDW in December and experienced everything from ice on the ground to high 80s.

As far as crowds go, you're going to be a bit less comfortable on this front. Christmas week is among the busiest times of the year at WDW. Disney does it's best to make things as enjoyable as possible for the guests. The parks will be open extra late, nearly all the attractions will be open, and there are special holiday shows, parties, and decorations. If you'd like to experience much of the holiday magic at WDW without the super-intense crowd levels, you should try coming in the earlier part of December. The decorations will be up and the crowds will be down.

    Hope this helps.
