We're considering a visit in spring 2026. When will we be able to book resorts or Good Neighbor Hotels for that time? We can't see anything beyond December right now.

Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney! As exciting as 2025 has been at the Disneyland Resort, I can only imagine the Disney magic that 2026 will bring. Spring is a wonderful season to visit, with longer park hours, seasonal blooms, and a dash of pixie dust in the air, it’s sure to be a memorable time for your trip!

Historically, hotel rates and vacation package availability for the following year are released around August. While no official date has been announced yet, these timelines can vary, so I recommend keeping a close watch on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates. It’s your best source for official news, including early peeks at what’s ahead for 2026. Good Neighbor Hotels usually follow a similar pattern, but because they are independently operated, they may have different release dates or policies. If there’s a particular property you’re considering, it’s a good idea to reach out to them directly to confirm their booking timeline.

When it comes to purchasing theme park tickets, timing is another important detail. Disneyland Resort tickets typically become available about 180 days in advance, although that window can shift. You can always check current availability and pricing on the Theme Park Tickets page on the Disneyland website. Since you're planning a spring 2026 visit, a good time to start exploring ticket options would be mid-September 2025.

One of the added perks of visiting during spring 2026, Jennifer, is that elements of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration are expected to still be part of the magic! While we’re still waiting for confirmation on exactly which offerings will be extended into the new year, you can likely look forward to some of the celebratory décor, limited-time entertainment, or special experiences still being available during your visit. Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date details on what 70th Anniversary elements will still be around in the spring season.

I hope this helps as you start planning your Disneyland adventure, Jennifer! If you have more questions along the way, we’re always here and happy to help at planDisney.

Wishing you a magical journey ahead,
    David
