Hello, we are considering a trip to Disney in August and staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Do you know if we can use Amazon to ship items to our resort direct?

Hi, Jennifer! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for bringing your question to us. You are welcome to have items shipped to you while staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. However, there are a few fees related to this that I want to make sure you understand. If you ship through a retailer like Amazon, then the items will go through the mail center and will be delivered to your resort's Front Desk. When items go through the mail center, there is a per package fee added to the guest's folio. At this time, that per package fee is $6 but is subject to change at any time. If you have ever ordered multiple items from Amazon, then you know that they sometimes ship items within the order as they are available. This may mean that you could get multiple packages and that per package fee could add up quickly! If you place an order like this, be sure to check the box on their website to ship the order in as few packages as possible. Now, once the package gets to the Front Desk, you have the option of picking it all up yourself or having Bell Services deliver it. If you choose Bell Services, then there will be another $6 flat fee added to your guest folio. This does not include any tip you may choose to provide the Cast Member assisting you.

Okay, let's talk options you have. Are you an Amazon Prime member? If so, there is a more cost-effective way to utilize them. Amazon Prime Now is available at all Disney Resort Hotels. If you utilize them or any other local grocery delivery service, like Instacart or Garden Grocer, then your order will be delivered to Bell Services, which currently does not impose a fee. If you pick up the order from Bell Services, then there is still no fee. However, you can have them bring the order to your room for a flat $6 fee plus tip, which I highly recommend if you have a large order (especially all the water bottles you will need!). Again, please understand that these fees are subject to change at any time.

I hope this information helps you figure out the best way to get all of the extra pixie dust delivered to you during your stay. If you have any other questions, feel free to bring them to us again!
