We are considering staying at The POR b/c there may be 5 of us & site says 2 beds plus trundle bed in some rooms and seems to be cheaper than ASM FAM suite. POR is considered a moderate priced resort? WHich would be better ASM or POR for buses & fo

    Hi Peggy,

I love Port Orleans Riverside and have said numerous times it is my favorite moderate location. The trundle bed is great to use in the room especially for little ones under the age of nine. I am not sure someone older would be as comfortable.

The All Star Music Resort Family suites are great. Not only do you get a kitchenette area, you also get a second full bathroom. This is really great when you want to get out of the room in a hurry. You also have a another full size pull out sofa and a convertible chair. It is really like getting two rooms for the price of one.

The transportation from either of these resorts will be a bus to all the parks. You can take a boat from Riverside to Downtown Disney. Riverside is an easier bus trip but not by much.

There is no full service restaurant at All Star Music. It is all food court option with a large seating area. Riverside has Boatwrights on site and a smaller selection of food court options.

I hope this helps you plan a magical vacation!
