We are considering staying at the Contemporary. Are all of the Garden wing rooms updated to the Incredibles theme now? Staying in 8/23

Welcome to planDisney, Adrienne! I'm so glad you're planning ahead for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort this fall, and Disney's Contemporary Resort is one you're considering. I love this resort because it has so many, um, "incredible" features!

I double-checked with a Cast Member, and she told me that the entire resort has been re-imagined with Pixar's The Incredibles theming. The bathrooms have also been remodeled, and the entire property has a fresh feel. I love that the monorail is part of the experience of staying at this resort, but I also like the fact that I can use the walking path and stroll to Magic Kingdom Park in about 10 minutes.

Something about the vibe at The Contemporary always makes me think of Walt Disney himself, and the future he envisioned. I think the Imagineers captured Walt's vision when they designed this resort, and for that reason, it has great sentimental appeal to me.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner at Steakhouse 71 a few weeks ago inside The Contemporary. It was our first time dining there, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend the plant-based Vegetable "Wellington." It was delicious!

Adrienne, whether you're a fan of The Incredibles or not, I think the new theming is subtle enough to be fun but not overwhelming at Disney's Contemporary Resort. You can embrace the theme as much or as little as you like. Just remember, like Edna Mode says, NO CAPES!

Stop by anytime, and I hope you have a magical visit this fall.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
