We are considering a split stay. What is the fastest way for us to get from POR to the Beach Club Resort? I have to get to the resort first to get my tickets. Thank you.

    Hi Beth,

I love split stays!  What a great way to experience more than one Disney Resort hotel during your vacation, and you're considering two of my own favorites!

If you'd like to use the complimentary transportation, the route I'd recommend is to take a bus from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and then catch the boat from there to Disney's Beach Club Resort.  When you arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll find the boat launch just outside the gates and a short walk away.  A Cast Member can help point you in the right direction if you need assistance.  Alternately, you could take the bus to Downtown Disney and then transfer to the bus going directly to Disney's Beach Club Resort from there.  Either way, I'd give yourself at least an hour to make the journey.

If you'd really like a quick trip, taking a taxi would be the best bet.  I'd estimate that ride would be just 10-15 minutes and it wouldn't likely cost more than $20.  Bell Services at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside can help you get a taxi if you choose this option.

Wishing you a most magical vacation, Beth!  Please visit us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if we can help answer any other questions as you make your plans.
