I am considering a split stay while at Disneyland Resort in California. I wanted to stay one night at each of the three collection resorts. What can I expect when letting bell service transfer my luggage each day?

Hi Raziel, and welcome back to planDisney! I love experiencing all of the different Disneyland Resort hotels, each with its own unique theming. So staying at all three in one trip sounds like a dream come true!

In my experience, the Disneyland Resort hotels will take care of transferring your luggage. Just bring everything to Bell Services and they’ll take care of moving your bags. When you're done in the theme parks, head to your next resort hotel and pick up your luggage from Bell Services. Typically your belongings won’t get to the next resort hotel until late afternoon, so be sure to plan accordingly. For instance, if you’re planning to do a mid-day pool break, you may want to keep your swimsuit and change of clothes in a locker or a bag with Bell Services.

Since you’re hitting up all three resort hotels, here are some of my must-dos at each one! At Pixar Place Hotel, don’t miss meeting Bing Bong who makes appearances in the lobby throughout the day. Joe Gardner also plays the piano across from the front desk and it’s always a treat to catch his performances! I’ve never noticed a posted schedule for Bing Bong, but you can ask a Cast Member when he's likely to be out.

At the Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, there are two complimentary tours — the Disneyland Hotel Tour and the Art of the Craft Tour. They’re such great opportunities to learn more about the history and design of both hotels and will give you a greater appreciation for where you’re staying! You can find the schedule by checking the Hours & Events Calendar, selecting Hotels of Disneyland Resort, and looking under Events & Entertainment (the tours only happen on certain days of the week). When I did the Disneyland Hotel Tour, I had to sign up in advance at the front desk.

Finally, I love the fun vibe inside Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Resort. Just be sure to make a reservation 60 days in advance since it’s a popular place to grab a drink.

I hope you have a magical stay at all three Disneyland Resort hotels! If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
