I am considering a FL resident annual pass. One of my children will be turning 3 on Feb 21, 2016. It will save us a ton (or several hundred dollars) if we can forgo a pass for her - so when do I need to purchase my annual pass? Or based on first use?

    Hi Kathryn,
I'm a Florida resident also and have had Annual Passes for the last several years. You can wait until after your little one celebrates their third birthday to purchase their annual pass. My daughter turned 3 after I'd already purchased Annual Passes for my son and myself. I purchased her pass after her birthday-it's good for a year after the first time you use it. It will just have to be renewed at a different time of year than your other passes if you don't activate them at the same time.

Please ensure you have your Florida driver's license with you when you purchase your tickets or activate your vouchers. The Cast Members at the ticket windows will ask you for it for proof of residency to ensure they can give you the discounted Florida resident ticket price.

Kathryn, I hope you and your family enjoy all the perks and benefits associated with being Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders! Don't forget to log in to My Disney Experience to customize your Magic Bands and receive your exclusive 2015 Passholder slide!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
