We are considering planning a week trip to WDW sometime between mid-October to mid-November. We usually go the 3rd week in October. Is there a week during that time frame that is best (less crowds, lower prices, etc.)? Thanks!

    Hi Loren,

Great time of the year to go! I love the Walt Disney World Resorts during this time of the year!

While the weeks may change based on the calendar, I can tell you some dates to avoid which might influence price.

The cheapest week would be the week before Thanksgiving. Families will be waiting for the Thanksgiving break to head to Walt Disney World. They will want to see the holiday decorations in full swing. This is a great week to go.

Also, avoid the week of Halloween as guests will want to be at the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on October 30 and 31.

Finally, plan around the opening and closing weekends of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Crowds peak on these weekends.

These few tips should allow you a fun time at the Walt Disney World Resorts.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
