I am considering planning a visit in October and would like to check out one of the water parks. Will the weather still be warm enough to enjoy? We would be coming early October! Thanks so much!

    Hi Tayvin,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I personally think a visit to a Disney water park in October sounds like a GREAT idea! With an average high for the month in the mid-eighties, and the possibility that it will be even warmer earlier in the month, I think you'd love the chance to cool off in a water park and would have a splashing great time! Of course with that said, weather can be unpredictable and there's no guarantee that it will cooperate with your plans.

My family visited Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park last November and had a BLAST. I'd definitely recommend checking out Miss Adventure Falls, Disney's longest water park ride ever. My family loved it! We're looking forward to visiting Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park during our trip this fall, and are already looking forward to the mini donuts...mmm! Some of my thrill-seeking kiddos can't wait to brave Summit Plummet, but I fully admit that I'm not daring enough for that one! I'll be waiting for them at Cross Country Creek...that's much more my speed! The great thing is that whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, or a combination of the two, you'll find it at Disney's water parks.

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip, Tayvin, and have a truly magical vacation!
