Hi, Kelly, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Never fear--your vegan sweet tooth will definitely be satisfied at the Walt Disney World Resort dessert parties! From Enjoy Life cookies and brownies to fresh fruit and maybe even vegan cupcakes or banana bread, you should have a good selection of options available to you. My recommendation would be to
contact the Special Diets team within 30 days of your arrival to let them know that you're vegan and which dessert party you'll be attending. Once you're there, you should just need to let your server know (and speak with a chef if necessary). In addition to the vegan treats, some gluten free vegan options should also be available (sometimes as treats from Erin McKenna's bakery located at Disney Springs). Depending on the Party and time of year, you might also be offered nondairy ice cream (such as Tofutti or Rice Dream), too.
So whether you're looking at the
Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace at Magic Kingdom Park, the
Rivers of Light Dessert Party at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the
Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase or the
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you're sure to have a
sweet time!
Best wishes, Kelly!
Amy
