Hey there, Ashton, and welcome back to planDisney. It's getting close to the most wonderful time of the year at Walt Disney World Resort. Holiday trees,
gingerbread houses, and sweet treats from the imagination of Mickey and Minnie will be a buffet for the senses.
Special Event tickets for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party allow guests to enter the theme park starting at 4:00 PM. All restaurants, attractions, and characters, available to day guests will also be available to guests entering with a party ticket. Provided there are no mechanical errors or weather issues you should be able to get in a standby line to enter any attraction. I make sure to race on the Grid on TRON Lightcycle / Run, soar over London during
Peter Pan's Flight, and explore the town of Tumbleweed on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The extra three hours is a huge benefit especially when the crowds thin out between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM when day guests need to exit Magic Kingdom Park. There may be some restrictions on
Lightning Lane Passes. Please ask a Cast member when you arrive if you are interested.
Please do me a favor and watch Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Parade. It is so much fun and is offered twice nightly. I prefer the later parade as I stand directly in front of
The Hall of Presidents. This allows me easy access back into Fantasyland or to the haunted Mansion for a few more attractions before the party ends.
Ashton, this will be an evening you will long remember and I know you will enjoy every moment. Please feel free to stop by
planDisney again for more insider tips on planning your Disney vacation.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
