Welcome aboard, Robin! Some of my family's most favorite sailings with Disney have been our
Very Merrytime cruises. Besides all of the fun that is included in every Disney Cruise Line vacation, there is even more holiday fun in store on these sailings!
If you choose the Disney Dream as your ship, there is a really cool Star Wars play area in the
Oceaneer Club. Sure, that means it's normally for the three to 12 year-old crowd, but during Open House hours, all guests are welcome to check out the club spaces. My husband and I spent a good amount of time virtually piloting the Millennium Falcon when we were onboard last time. And, shhh.. we didn't even have the kids with us on that cruise! There will be other Star Wars themed activities going on in the Club throughout the cruise, but lots of extra Christmas fun too. On the Disney Fantasy, you'll find another Star Wars themed area in the Oceaneer Club. However, the Magic and Wonder have completely differently themed areas like Marvel, Frozen, and more.
I don't remember much else Star Wars related going on during our last Very Merrytime cruises, but believe me, there is
something for everyone no matter what! If you're looking for a truly immersive Star Wars experience, you may instead consider one of the cruises that includes
Star Wars Day at Sea. But, honestly on any of Mickey's sailings, even your Star Wars loving family members will get into the rest of the fun that is always included with a Disney Cruise Line vacation!
Happy planning!
Marcy
