Considering giving DCL a try. Thought that the best way would be a short cruise followed by some days in WDW. Are there combo packages either through DCL or WDW that offer this option? Thanks for all of your help.

    Ahoy Pamela!
Thanks so much for writing back!  Many Guests love to combine a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with a Disney Cruise for a double dose of pixie dust!  Currently, there are no land and sea packages, but you can add-on a Walt Disney World stay to your cruise reservation.  When you add-on a pre-cruise or post-cruise resort stay, you are able to include park hopper tickets and ground transportation as well.  At this time, dining cannot be added on so if you'd like to include it during your stay, you will need to purchase your Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line vacations separate.
My advice is to pick your cruise date first and then give Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 to book your two vacations together if you are interested in a pre-or post-cruise stay.  If not, you can book online (www.disneycruise.com and www.waltdisneyworld.com)  or by phone (800) 951-3532 for Disney Cruise Line and (407) 939-2273 for future Walt Disney World vacations.
I'm so glad you are continuing to use the Moms Panel, Pamela!  I'd love to hear from you again with more questions!
Have a magical day and happy planning!
