I am considering getting the park hopper option for our day trip to Disney with our 3 1/2 year old. Does the monorail run from Magic Kingdom to to Hollywood Studios? About how long would it take to hop from one location to the other? Thanks for the help!

    Hi there Keri!

Congratulations on your Walt Disney World vacation!  I have always found the Park Hopper Option to be a great way to add flexibility to our trips. Unfortunately, the monorail does not run between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. You would need to take a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios from Magic Kingdom Park. Follow the link I have provided to learn more about the recommended routes when visiting multiple parks. I would allow approximately 15 to 30 minutes to travel between the two parks.

I hope this information helps in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Keri!

    Happy Travels,
