    Hi there Debbie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're glad you're here! How exciting you may be visiting Walt Disney World again next Spring!  I also like to try different resorts when we visit the "Happiest Place on Earth" and find that in doing so, we enjoy a completely unique vacation experience! I have personally stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort numerous times now and love the Southwest-theming, beautiful guest room accommodations, fun recreational activities and the Pepper Market, a quick-service dining location. Honestly, I have never found this resort to be overly crowded or noisy. I do want to mention that Coronado Springs Resort is a much larger property than Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort so you may find the distance from your guest room to the Dig Site or dining locations to be longer than what you experienced previously. There is also a convention center onsite, but that has never impacted our stay in any way. I don't foresee the amount of walking to be a problem for the ages of your boys and I actually believe the Dig Site and Lost City of Cibola feature pool will be more appealing to them. Although I love being able to take the Sassagoula River Cruise to Downtown Disney from Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort, I also love that Coronado Springs Resort does not usually share bus transportation with any other resort. One of the biggest advantages at Coronado Springs Resort is having the sliding wood panels in each guest room that can close to separate the sleeping area from the vanity area.
I hope this information helps in making your decision. I definitely don't think you can go wrong with either of these beautiful Moderate Resorts, but I would recommend trying Coronado Springs Resort for a completely different vacation experience! Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional questions as your planning progresses. Best wishes for a magical trip!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
