Hi Bob and welcome to
planDisney! I’m so glad you have stopped in to visit us with your planning question!
The
availability calendar is a great tool, when it comes to helping you plan your next visit. The arrows at the top of the calendar allow you to navigate the months and the tabs above it, that read “Theme Park Tickets”, “Disney Resort Guests” and “Annual Passholders” will give you the availability for all the theme parks, based on your accommodations and type of entrance tickets or passes you have. “Green” means all parks are available, “yellow” means some of the parks are available and “gray” means all theme parks are at capacity for reservations for that particular day. You will also see a list of theme parks below the calendar. When the calendar days are yellow, a check mark next to the park will indicate that it is available. The red cross tells us it's at capacity for the day.
It’s possible that your internet may have been experiencing a hiccup. I encourage you to take a look at the
availability calendar again, so you can make those all-important
Disney Park Pass Reservations for your April visit. It's important to note, you do need valid
theme park tickets linked to your
My Disney Experience account before you can make your park reservations.
Bob, the
Interactive Parks Calendar is very handy, too! I always make sure to use it when I start planning my visits. It will give you hours for all of the theme parks, water parks and even Disney Springs! You can adjust your destinations and the dates on this calendar as well, by selecting either the “Month View”, “5-Day View”, “Day View” or the “Park Hours” tab.
The
Disney Parks Blog is also a great place to go to keep up with the current and upcoming activities and experiences you can enjoy at the Walt Disney World Resort.
I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan your vacation. Don’t hesitate to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next
magical visit!
