I am considering a dinner reservation for my family at a restaurant at the Polynesian hotel. Is it worth making a reservation? Do I need one? And which restaurant at that hotel would you recommend?

    Welcome to a fellow Hoosier!

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my favorite places to eat in Walt Disney World. From the table service restaurant, 'Ohana, to Captain Cook's, the quick service restaurant, there is some amazing food to enjoy here.

I highly recommend an Advanced Dining Reservation if you are planning of eat at 'Ohana. This restaurant, which serve family-style meals, is very popular especially around the time of Wishes as there is a great view of the show across the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Another great place to eat at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is Captain Cook's. This is a quick service restaurant with great south seas inspired menus items. My family likes to eat at this dining location in the late evening then head out to the Polynesian beach to watch Wishes. Not before stopping at the Pineapple Lanai for a world-famous Dole Whip, of course!

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about your Disney dining options or any other aspects of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
