Hi there, Neil! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and ask your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!
As someone that frequently travels to Walt Disney World Resort, I can say that you've narrowed it down to two excellent times of the year to visit! Both January and April offer Guests a more temperate climate, slightly lower crowds historically, and fun seasonal events!
Guests visiting in January tend to experience some of the chillest weather Central Florida has to offer without the well-known crowds associated with the holidays! In addition, the
Epcot International Festival of the Arts takes place from mid-January to late-February. This event celebrates performing arts, visual arts, and culinary arts through live demonstrations, interactive attractions, live performances, and more!
If you and your family prefer warmer weather, you may want to consider visiting in April! Temperatures tend to be warmer without being scorching which can be great if you intend on visiting the
Water Parks! The
Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival also takes place during this month and is a great time for Guests that love to learn all about the flowers and gardens from around the world. This festival invites Guests to tour international gardens, learn from engaging exhibits, and taste more than a few local eats!
Ultimately, the decision of when to travel is largely up to personal preference. However, it's clear that you can't go wrong with either choice!
Have fun continuing to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
