Ahoy, Lisa!
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your cruise question!
Whenever I am on a Disney Cruise Line vacation, one of my "Must Dos" is brunch at Palo. To start, the restaurant is stunning. Your host or hostess will most likely give you a few insights to the artwork and decorations around Palo. Once you are seated, your server will bring you a glass of bubbly or a Mimosa to start your meal.
After your beverage is delivered, your server will escort you to the amazing buffet. They will tell you about all of the different foods available. I love this part, since oftentimes at a buffet, I am not sure what everything is. Then, you will get your first plate. I recommend the salmon mousse, prosciutto wrapped melon, and the grape and gorgonzola flatbread pizza.
After you have dined to your heart's content in a lovely, quiet atmosphere with the ocean going by, you will visit the dessert table. Be sure to have at least 1 (or 6) chocolate covered strawberries. The desserts are the perfect size for having many different things.
Since brunch at Palo is a buffet, you can take as little or as long as you'd like. If you want to be out of Palo in an hour, just be sure to tell your server, they can definitely accommodate you. The
dress code is the same for both brunch and dinner.
I hope this helps with your decision! Have a wonderful cruise!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
