I am considering booking Seats and Sweets for an upcoming trip (February 2026) - is it possible to bring in a hot dog or chicken tenders from nearby quick service or better still, once seated, mobile order and leave to pick up and come back?

Welcome back to planDisney, Stephanie! It’s always so great to hear from you. February is such a lovely time to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth, since the cooler weather makes everything feel extra enjoyable.

I love booking the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties as a special treat. They take all the stress out of staking out a spot on Main Street, U.S.A., and the Seats & Sweets version is extra nice because you can relax at Tomorrowland Terrace with desserts before the show and then enjoy the fireworks from your reserved seating area.

While there’s no official policy posted about bringing outside food into the party, I can’t imagine a small snack like a hot dog or chicken tenders causing an issue, especially since the location is technically open-air and connected to the park. That said, I’d still check with the Cast Members at the check-in podium just to be sure. My recommendation would be to pick up your Mobile Order before checking in so you don’t risk losing your seats, since they aren’t pre-assigned and arriving early gives you the best view. If you do want to Mobile Order something once you’re seated, you could always send one member of your party to pick it up while the rest of you hold your spot (and if you’re a fan of Casey’s Corner, I can’t recommend the mini corn dog nuggets with a side of cheese enough)!

And while there are usually some cheese and crackers as a savory option, the main focus of the party is the artfully crafted desserts, so you're smart to enjoy your meal beforehand. Check-in for Seats & Sweets usually begins about an hour and a half before the Happily Ever After Fireworks, so if the show is at 8:00 PM, you can expect check-in to start around 6:30 PM, with the desserts being available by 7:00 PM. Arriving early means you can get settled in your seats, enjoy your treats, and get ready for an incredible view.

Reservations for this experience can be made just like a dining reservation, either online or in the My Disney Experience app, starting 60 days in advance. These parties are very popular, so it’s wonderful that you’re already thinking ahead. And as a fun bonus, beer, wine, and a variety of hot and cold beverages are included with the party.

Stephanie, I hope this helps you enjoy the best of both worlds...delicious food and a perfect view of the fireworks!

    See ya real soon,
