We are considering a back 2 back cruise on the Dream in 2013. What happens to us, our luggage, etc. between the cruises? Are we allowed to get right back on the ship? I've read that this process isn't always a smooth one, and I don't want any problems!

    Hey Kelli!

Great to hear from you again!  I'm so glad you asked this question because I just recently returned from a back to back cruise!  I couldn't have been happier with Disney Cruise Line's procedures for this process.  On the last night of our voyage, we did receive a letter in our stateroom with all the details we needed to know about disembarkation and our second embarkation.  As long as you book the same room, everything will stay onboard, and your stateroom host or hostess will clean your room like any other morning.  You will go to breakfast in either Cabanas, the casual dining buffet or to the Main Dining Room you dined in the previous night.  After a delicious meal, you will need to disembark the ship no later than 9:15am. Take your custom form, new cruise documentation, and passports/birth certificates with you because you will have to check-in again in the terminal.  .  You will then proceed down the gangway back into the DCL terminal.  You will need to present yourself to customs and then head back up the escalator to the check-in area.  We packed a small bag with electronics to help keep us occupied while we waited to check-in again and reboard.  There are also TVs playing Disney cartoons as well.  By 10:30, we were already heading back on the ship.  Not everything will be operational, but on our cruise, the pool was open so we headed back to our stateroom to get changed.  Even though new Guests will not have access to their rooms until 1:30, we were able to go directly there.  The transition was seamless, and I would definitely do it again in the future!

Thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel, Kelli!  As you continue to plan, please let me know if you have any further questions!  I'm always happy to help!

    Have a wonderful day!
