Welcome aboard, Diane!
Dining onboard Disney Cruise Line's magical ships is one of the best parts of sailing with Captain Mickey and his crew.
My husband and I love treating ourselves to specialty coffees at our local coffee shop and so when we sail, a favorite past time is grabbing cushy chairs in
Cove Cafe and enjoying a specialty latte. Pricing is always subject to change, so check the menu onboard for the current pricing, but to give you a rough idea, a latte, (different varieties available) is typically around $3 to $6. I recently enjoyed a delicious Salted Caramel Coconut Latte on the Disney Wonder and it was heavenly! I think the view of the sea outside the Cove Cafe window has everything to do with making it taste even better than it would at home! You're welcome to ask for the latte to be iced if you'd like! If you will be enjoying a few lattes at Cove Cafe, ask for the Cafe Fanatic Punch Card so you can get a free drink after you purchase five.
On the pool deck, you'll find the 24-hour complimentary beverage station where you can help yourself to coffee (regular and decaf), tea, soft drinks, hot chocolate, milk, filtered water, and more. That's free, and you could certainly make yourself an iced coffee there too! Creamer and sugars are available right there.
In the restaurants, regular and decaf coffee is available free of charge. However, if you want a special coffee drink there, those are available for an extra charge. Again, please verify pricing on the menu, as pricing is subject to change, but currently it's about $3 for an espresso, and $5 for a specialty mocha latte.
Enjoy your cruise, and be sure to try a few different specialty coffees onboard! There's always a new flavor in which to indulge!
