    Can I connect my ticket to my app?

    Welcome to planDisney, Amber!  I'll be happy to answer your question so you will be all set and ready to enjoy The World's Most Magical Celebration!

    You will need to connect your admission ticket to your My Disney Experience account.  This can be done via the My Disney Experience mobile app, or on the My Disney Experience website.  In the app, use the menu button in the lower right corner to select "Tickets and Passes" and then click on the blue plus sign at the top of the page.  To link your tickets on the My Disney experience website, go to "My Plans", hover over the Park Tickets icon in the middle of the page, and select the blue "Link Tickets" button.  Once your ticket has been linked to your account, make your Disney Park Pass reservations.  At this time, all Guests ages 3 and up will need a Disney Park Pass reservation in addition to valid admission in order to enter a theme park.

    You will also need a way to scan your admission ticket at the theme park entrance. There are essentially three ways to do this:

    • A ticket card.  A ticket card can be picked up at Guest Relations at any theme park, or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.  Be sure to have your purchase confirmation information and photo ID, as well as the credit card used to purchase your tickets. 
    • A MagicBand.  MagicBands are available for purchase at many merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.  Follow instructions on the packaging to link a MagicBand to a Guest profile.  Once linked, the MagicBand will automagically link to the admission in that Guest's profile.  If you have ordered a MagicBand through My Disney Experience connected with a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, the MagicBand is already linked and ready to use.
    • A Disney MagicMobile pass.  A Disney MagicMobile pass can be created through the My Disney Experience Mobile app using the menu button in the lower right corner, and then saved to the digital wallet on your mobile device.
