I am confused about the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party. We have reservations for Dec 3rd. The time of the reservation says 6:20pm but the fireworks are scheduled at 10pm that night. Can you explain?

    Hey Sandy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us this great question.

I, too, have a 6:00 p.m. reservation for the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party in December. Just today I chatted with a Cast Member about the discrepancy. She said that going forward all of these reservations will be booked for 6:00 p.m. regardless of the time Wishes is to begin. The Cast Member advised me to check on the actual start time when I check into my resort or when I arrive at the Magic Kingdom.

Typically, the parties begin one hour prior to Wishes. I have no reason to believe that rule of thumb will not be followed. If you have any other questions I suggest giving Disney Dining a call at (407) 939-1947.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical Disney vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
