Hello! I am confused about the new Picnic in the Park at AK. On DDP, is it considered a counter service meal or a table meal? Thanks for all your help in planning!!

Thank you for the kind words!

The new Picnic in the Park sack lunch program uses Quick Service (also known as counter service) credits when you are on the Disney Dining Plan. There is one twist, however. The Picnic in the park can only be paid for with Adult Quick Service credits. So this means that a family of two adults and two children would need to use four Adult QS credits. Or, as an alternative, you could order the Picnic in the park for three, using three Adult QS credits, and have the children share a meal. I have not had a chance to try the picnic yet, but from what I hear the portions are quite generous.
