    Trinity from FL Asked

Hello! I am confused about the new dining plans. I know that I can create dining plans 60 days in advance, however, are the plans the same as they were before? Do I need to make reservations for the quick-service restaurants now? Thanks for your help!

    Bonjour Trinity!

It sounds like you are ready to Be Our Guest for some fabulous dining options at Walt Disney World Resort. Trinity, dining is one of my absolute favorite things to do at Walt Disney World Resort, so you have come to the right place!

You are absolutely correct that Dining Plans, which were similar to a pre-paid dining package, are currently not available at Walt Disney World Resort. Trinity, while Dining Plans are not available, there is no shortage of fabulous table service and quick service dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort!

Advanced dining reservations for table service restaurants can be made 60-days in advance. Please note that buffets have been converted into family-style meals and while there are some character dining locations, they are offering a modified dining experience with character interaction while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Trinity, while you will not need reservations for your quick service meal, it is recommended that you take advantage of Mobile Ordering. To use this handy-dandy feature, you will need to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Once you are on the app, you can log in and order your meal. When you arrive at the restaurant, you can click "I'm here" and your meal will magically appear. No waiting in line required.

I hope that this gave you some clarity on the new dining situation, Trinity. Please come back here to planDisney if we can help as you plan your magical vacation!

    See you real soon!
