Confused about MVMCP if I come to Magic Kingdom just for party do I need a park ticket in addtion to MVMCP ticket? PS Just returned from WDW arrived at resort behind Magic Ex bus & was 2nd in line thanks to online ck in

I'm so glad that you found Disney's new online check-in system helpful. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm really looking forward to testing myself during my next trip to WDW.

If you want to just attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you only need a ticket for the party. You do NOT need to have a regular theme park admission ticket in addition to the party ticket. The party hours have generally been 7:00 p.m. until midnight. Historically, guests with Party tickets have been able to enter the Magic Kingdom after about 4:00 p.m. using only the Party ticket.
