Confused on dining plan. If I eat breakfast at chef mickeys is that a table or counter service? There is no knife/fork/spoon picture beside it on the disney site. Also the crystal palace? Is counter service the same as quick service? Thank you.

    Sharon,

    Short answer:
    - Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are both Table Service meals.  They are also Character Dining meals.  Both require only one Table Service dining credit.  The type of meal (breakfast or dinner) doesn't matter -- either only requires one Table Service credit.
    - "Counter Service" and "Quick Service" are the same thing

If you want more information, I highly recommend that you download the Dining Plan Guide by clicking here.  It has lots of information, including a list of all of the dining plan restaurants with codes next to each restaurant to show you what type of service is provided (quick service, table service, character meal, signature dining, etc.).  You will likely notice that they use the term "Quick Service" instead of "Counter Service."  To us "Moms" the terms are interchangeable -- I hope that hasn't caused too much confusion for you.
