I am confused on the difference between a Quick-service meal and a Table Meal. Can I use both of these at a full-service rest. Can I use a Quick-service meal for dinner at a full service rest. Where can I get detailed instructions on the rules?

Hi again, Michelle! You're going to love the Disney Dining Plan. I know the terminology can be confusing when you're hearing it for the first time, but you'll get the hang of it in no time, I promise! Click HERE for an explanation of how the plan works and a list of participating restaurants.

For each night of your trip you'll receive one credit per person for a quick-service meal, a table-service meal, and a snack.  Quick-service credits (also known as counter-service credits) may be spent at the fast-food types of restaurants -- the ones where you walk up to the counter and place your order and then receive your food on a tray and take it to a table yourself.

You'll use your table-service credits to pay for meals at sit-down restaurants -- the ones where you're seated at a table and a waiter or waitress takes your order and then brings your food to you.  Only table-service, and not quick-service, credits can be used at this type of "full service" restaurant. You can make advance dining reservations for the table-service restaurants by calling 407-WDW-DINE or online by clicking here.

I hope I've helped you understand the Dining Plan a little better; if you have more questions, feel free to ask! Have a magical vacation!
