    I am confused, do I have to buy memory maker every time I go to Disney? For instance, if I go in April and then go again in September do I still have access to the original purchase of memory maker? Do I purchase pictures off memory maker or are they free?

    Hi there, Karen, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am sure you are incredibly excited about both of your upcoming trips. April is not far off now!

    Memory Maker enables you to bring home a piece of magic from the Walt Disney World Resort by downloading photographs that have been taken by professional PhotoPass photographers throughout the resort. PhotoPass photographers are available at iconic locations, such as in front of Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom, during select character meetings, and even at three PhotoPass Studio locations. You will also get some very memorable photographs from rides like Frozen Ever After, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and The Haunted Mansion. 

    Memory Maker must be purchased at least three days in advance to receive a special discounted pre-arrival price and is valid for up to 30 days once it has been activated. This 30-day time limit means that you will have to purchase separate Memory Maker packages for each of your vacations. 

    Karen, did you know that the download of all PhotoPass photographs is included with a Disney Platinum Pass? In fact, one of the reasons that made an annual pass cost-effective for my family was the consideration of not having to pay for Memory Maker each time, not to mention the discounts that you are eligible for across the Walt Disney World resort.
