Conflicting Info: Is Create Your Own mouse ear hat available at Le Chapeau or not? At WDW 8/12. Reviews on store site--basic ear hat OK quality but most said name embroidery crooked. OK to pre-order to home & bring for embroidery? Where at WDW? Cost?

    Hi Charissa,

The Create Your Own Mouse Ear product was discontinued over a year ago and is no longer available anywhere at Walt Disney World.

You are welcome to bring an ear hat from home to one of the stores at WDW to have it embroidered there.

There are a few places at WDW where you have your name embroidered on the back of Mickey ears. The easiest and cheapest place is at Le Chapeau on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom. The most basic name embroidery currently costs about $3.00 (prices can change). There are also fancy embroidery and more elaborate fonts available for around $8.00.

Other ear hat embroidery locations include Adrian & Edith's Head to Toe store on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Mouse Gear at Epcot, or Disney Days of Christmas Store at Downtown Disney. Prices and option are similar to those at DHS.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
