Hi there, Tara! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your April vacation is fast approaching, and I am sure you are more than ready for it to be here!
Tara, as a mom of two myself, I know how essential a double stroller is to a day of fun at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Walt Disney World Resort does offer
double strollers for rent, but there are a few things that you should know. First, and most important, while strollers can be rented in the park, they may not leave the park. This could often be a deal-breaker for people looking for a little help getting the kids back to their car or resort for the night. They are also made of plastic, with no padding, and do not recline. While stroller rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, I have never personally experienced any trouble renting one.
If your children are a little older and just need a place to sit and rest their legs while you journey throughout the park, the in-park stroller rentals may be the perfect option for you. If you are looking for a stroller to use for the full day, where your children can nap, I would recommend that you rent from a third-party vendor. Currently, ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider, and the only stroller rental agency who can drop-off and pick-up from bell services at your
Walt Disney World Resort hotel, meaning that you will not have to coordinate pick-up if you are staying on-site!
I hope that this helped make your decision, Tara. Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help as you plan your magical vacation! We hope to see ya real soon!
