we want to compare the Grand Floridian and Polynesian resorts, can you help?

    Hi, Donna!
Thanks for checking in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

When it comes to comparing Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, it all comes down to the different "experiences" you can have at each spot. At the Grand Floridian, you get the feel of a formal Southern Plantation resort. Everything is clean cut, beautiful and classic. The resort has a number of formal and very delicious restaurants. You can also enjoy tea and relax at the Senses Spa

Just a walk away is the Polynesian. But the moment you get to the resort, it feels like you traveled to a completely different country. That's because the resort feels like you stepped into a tropical paradise. There's a more relaxed and beach-like feel to the environment. My favorite part of the experience is how tiki torches light the way as you walk to your room at the end of the day. Like the Grand Floridian, the Polynesian has delicious restaurants, but these fit a more tropical or Asian flair. This resort has my favorite lounge in all of Walt Disney World: Trader Sam's Grog Grotto.

Both resorts are remarkable. I'm lucky to have visited both. Let me know if I can help answer any additional questions as you plan an unforgettable vacation!
