    I have a comp ticket for one park, can i upgrade it to a park hopper and pay the difference?

    Welcome to planDisney! Ooh...a complimentary ticket to The Happiest Place on Earth sure sounds fantastic! I bet you can't wait to soak up some magic and fun with that! 

    Complimentary tickets, generally speaking, may not be upgraded. When a Guest upgrades a ticket, they must pay the difference between the cost of their current ticket and the one to which they'd like to upgrade. Because there is no cost for a complimentary ticket, there's no value to assign to it. Can you check the fine print on your ticket, though? As a complimentary ticket, it should say something about not being eligible for upgrades. Of course, if you ever have any questions about your specific tickets, you can always feel free to reach out to a Cast Member via phone, email, the chat feature within the Disneyland mobile app, or at a ticket booth once you arrive.
