We are comming to DW for our son's 5th birthday. We are staying in a hotel off of DW resort. Can we still purcahse a dinning plan?

Unfortunately not. The Disney Dining Plan is only available to guests who are purchasing a Magic Your Way package that includes a hotel room at a WDW resort, theme park tickets, and the Dining Plan.

Even if you are staying off-property, you are still welcome to make reservations for and dine at any WDW restaurant, you'll just have to pay for your meal with money (cash, credit card, etc.) rather than with Dining Plan credits.

I hope your son has a magical birthday at WDW!
