Coming with my 46yr old bfwho has never been to DW. I am a dvc member i have never been during the xmas season no kids allowed :)which weeks would be best to catch the xmas theme can't find any dates online.Where should we stay? Want him to feel the magic.

    Hi Yolonda!

It sounds like you are planning a great first trip for your boyfriend! The Holiday's at Walt Disney World are one of the best times to visit, in my opinion!

Personally, if you are not constrained by school schedules and vacations, early to mid-December is the best time to visit. The holiday decorations adorn the parks and resorts. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is underway at the Magic Kingdom. AND, the peak holiday crowds have not yet arrived! Its the perfect combination!!

For a wonderful resort experience, I highly recommend the Wilderness Lodge (or Villas, if you'd like to use your DVC points). The theme of this resort is a beautiful Northwest Pacific feel. At Christmas time, its adorned with a multi-story Christmas tree, lit wooden deer forms, and wooden bears. It is really a sight to see! Plus, at the Wilderness Lodge, there are lots of small sitting areas and romantic nooks for the two of you to relax in!

Hope this helps! Hope you have a wonderful trip!
