I am coming with my 4 and 2 year old Below is what I have planned, can you give me any tips. Where could I fit in AK? Day 1: MK + Chef Mickey's Day 2: Epcot + Princess Lunch + Epcot Fireworks Day 3: Hollywood + Hollywood & Vine Lunch Day 4: MK +

    Hi Sara,

You look like you have a good schedule for a first trip. I like that you are only concentrating on one park a day especially when you have two little ones. Looking back on my children's first trip at the same age, I wish I would have done only one park a day. It would have made for a more manageable trip.

I do love that you are taking some time out of Magic Kingdom and heading to a resort for dinner as it is a good break. Also, I like they you are touring Disney's Hollywood Studios after a long day in Epcot so that you can relax and watch shows to recover from all the walking around Epcot.

As for where to place Animal Kingdom, it really might not be necessary this trip. If you do not want to purchase a park hopper, then I say skip it and save it for the next trip. It gives your family something to look forward to on the next visit.

My best tip is keep to your children's schedule and have fun. If you are early risers, get up, out and into bed early so that you are rested for the next day. You will do a lot of walking (my husband's FitBit averaged six miles a day) so make sure you have a stroller. Also, bring snacks and drinks and be prepared to wait with fun games and activities. We played I Spy at that age or other hand games. We still play Rock, Paper, Scissor to pass the time.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
