I am coming to WTW for the first time with kids ages 7,11 and 13. I will be arriving around 5 on 1/16/14 and leaving on 1/21. Where should I plan to spend the most days? 2 days at Magic Kingdom?? I am a little overwhelmed with all there is to do! Help!!

    Greetings Suzan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  How exciting your first Walt Disney World vacation is just a few weeks away!  As a mom of four children ranging in age from eight to fifteen, I can tell you that there are so many exciting attractions and shows at all four theme parks that your children will love! I definitely think you will want to devote the most time at Magic Kingdom Park to fully experience everything this iconic park has to offer! I often advise families with young children to spend two full days at Magic Kingdom Park since it has the most attractions geared toward little ones.

I wasn't sure if you are planning to visit the parks on the day you arrive and depart. If not, that would leave you with four full days to visit the parks. Disney's Animal Kingdom Park traditionally closes earlier than the other theme parks so my family likes to "park hop" when visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. If you will have the Magic Your Way Park Hopper Tickets, you can always split one day between Disney's Animal Kingdom Park (morning) and Epcot (afternoon and evening.) Another plan is to visit Magic Kingdom Park on your first full day and then split Disney's Animal Kingdom Park (morning) and Magic Kingdom Park (evening) on a separate day, which would give you 1 1/2 days at Magic Kingdom Park. I would definitely dedicate one full day to DIsney's Hollywood Studios, making sure to experience Fantasmic! that evening.

I hope this information helps in making your decision. Please don't hesitate to visit me again if you would like to know my list of "can't miss" attractions for each park you will be visiting or if you have any additional questions. I would love to assist you further in the planning of a magical first trip, Suzan!

    Happy Planning,
